Small group session (max 10, min 6) providing evidence-based information to prepare you for breastfeeding.

Sessions will include information on:

• The benefits of breastfeeding

• Establishment of breastfeeding

• Practical advice for the early days

• Normal infant behaviour

• Common breastfeeding challenges

• Feeding patterns for your newborn.

• Lots of time for Q & A.

Sessions will be held at venues across Port Macquarie & will include morning or afternoon tea & drinks.

Cost - $70 per person.

• Opportunity to ask any questions / discuss concerns.

Home visit that includes:

• Review of pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding history.

• Physical assessment of mother & baby (if relevant / consent).

• Observation of a breastfeed.

• Discuss breastfeeding challenges & resolution.

• Tailored education.

• Text mssage support between initial appointment & follow up.

Cost - $225

Home visit that includes:

• Follow up from initial consultation.

• Observation of a breastfeed (if required).

• Support & advice.
